Easter Cards

I used a Mojo Monday Sketch for this card but didn't enter the challenge. The paper is something I had in my stash but I don't know where it came from. I like the way the paper goes so well with Pear Pizzazz from Stampin Up. The bunny is from A New Little Someone, from Stampin Up, its a stamp set for a baby but I think its perfect for Easter. I also did some sewing on this card which I've never done before (sewing on paper that is) and I think I'll need to practice some more.

I was inspired by a card I saw on Kristin Eberline's blog; www.kristinscrafts.blogspot.com. As you can see I used the same paper that I used on the first card but I used yellow accents. The stamp set is Eastern Blossoms from Stampin Up and again I used the Pear Pizzazz cardstock and ink also from them. Thanks for looking.

Two-Step Flower

Here's a card for the color challenge over at Creative Sketches. The colors are Daffodil Delight, Bashful Blue and Elegant Eggplant, this was tough for me but I think I pulled it off. I used all Stampin Up products. The stamp sets are Greenhouse Garden and Clearly for You. I sprayed the flowers and butterflies with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch to give it a softer look. Thanks for looking.

Chocolate Bunny

I made this quick and simple card for this weeks Stamping 411 Challenge. I used several retired items from Stampin Up; Chocolate Bunny stamp, So Saffron striped ribbon and some Close to Cocoa cardstock. The other cardstock is Chocolate Chip and DSP Patterned Subtles paper and the verse is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes. I heated embossed the bunny and the verse with Clear Embossing Powder. Thanks for looking.

Anya Love

I'm entering this card in two challenges, Our Creative Corner challenge "Girl Power"; you are to use a handmade flower, ribbon and some bling and I used the layout challenge from Stamping 411. I think it came together pretty well, I love the pinks and green. I used Pear Pizzazz cardstock from Stampin Up and a scrap from GCD I had, the ribbon is also a scrap and the flowers are made from tissue paper, punched with a scallop circle punch. The stamp is Miss Anya Love from The Greeting Farm which I colored with Copic Markers but I still need practice coloring lol. Thanks for looking.

Easter

The challenge over at Creative Sketches is Holidays and Celebrations. I decided to do an Easter card and I have to say I love the way it turned out. I used Lovely Lilac cardstock and ink with Easter Blossoms stamp set and the Tulip embossing folder, all from Stampin Up. The flowers are a daisy punch I've had for years and the leafs are a punch from MS. Thanks for looking.

Mojo Monday #183

This card is for the Mojo Monday Challenge #183. I've used all Stampin Up products which include the Springtime Vintage DSP, Always Artichoke, Rose Red and Very Vanilla cardstock and inks. I made the flower with the Build a Blossom punch and the extra large Scallop Circle punch, sponging the edges with the Rose Red ink. I also used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder on the Rose Red background but you really can't see it in the photo and the Little Leaves Sizzlits Die. I really had fun making this card and I hope you enjoy seeing it. Thanks for looking

Butterfly

I made this for the Stamping 411 challenge using some paper from Colorbok, a retired stamp set called God's Beauty from Stampin Up, and Elegant Eggplant and Marina Mist inks from Stampin Up. I like the way this turned out and would love to hear your comments. Thanks for looking.

Club Layout Challenge

Today at card club we had a layout challenge and here's what I came up with, everything is from Stampin Up. I used Springtime Vintage, Marina Mist, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla cardstocks, along with Sweet Summer and Tiny Tags stamps. I used Always Artichoke and Marina Mist markers to color the stamp. The flower centers are tiny pearls which I colored with the Marina Mist markers, then I added a Window Pane on top with some Marina Mist ribbon tied around it and thats it. Thanks for looking.

City Girls

I just had to buy this stamp at our Rubber Stamp Convention last weekend for my daughter, I think she'll get a kick out of it. The stamp is from Denami Designs and the verse is Favorite Thoughts from Stampin Up. The paper is Marina Mist, Basic Black, Very Vanilla from Stampin Up and the print paper is something I had in my stash. I used watercolor pencils and glaze pens to color the image. Thanks for looking.

My Son's Birthday

For this card I wanted to do something different, so I went with the stamp set Circle Circus from Stampin Up (I even used the layout they have in an older catalog, I just changed the color a little). I used Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist and So Saffron cardstock. I did some heat embossing with the Chocolate Chip ink and added some Chocolate Chip brads. Thanks for looking.

Ryan's Birthday

I have a hard time coming up with masculine cards but you can't go wrong with a car or in this case a truck. I found this stamp at my local big box craft store, it doesn't have a company name on it, anyway other than the stamp everything else is Stampin Up. The cardstock is Very Vanilla, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip. I used Chocolate Chip ink for the stamp and did some sponging with it also. I used Crysal Effects on the back window to give it the look of a real window. Thanks for looking.
